Day 199 of 365

Day 199 to a better you...

Day 199 to a better me...

Welcome to another great day of feeling safe being who you are, and just by being who you are!

Affirmation: I EMBODY THE FEELING OF BEING SAFE.

I am safe. I am surrounded by those who make me feel safe. I am divinely protected.

This might sound a little weird, but most of the things you have decided to postpone or have decided not to do are because of the fear of rejection or the fear of not succeeding.  Either way, it's because there are safety issues within you.

If you fall, you don't have anybody to hold you (or at least that is what your wounded inner child, aka you as a kid thinks might happen).

You'd be surprised at what someone who is confident and feels safe no matter what they decide to do...can accomplish!

The time in your mother's womb, you were there because you felt safe.  And it took you 9 months (in most cases) to feel safe and ready to come out of your comfort/safe zone.  Of course, your mother might have pushed you a little in the right direction to get you ready for when you thought it was time to say hello.  You had her support.  And that made you feel safe.

Even when you had nothing to offer but your presence, you felt safe and important (another word you managed to learn as you grew).

So, when was it that you started feeling unsafe?  When your cries were ignored?  When your needs were not met?  When you were introduced to violence?  When someone else came to take your place?  When you stopped feeling supported?

Yes, these are all wounds that your inner child carries because it felt or feels unsafe now.

Your mom (and her womb) could only support you for so long before she hurt herself.  There's a time for everything; it's a natural process if you will.

And she will only be able to hold your hand for a little bit...because she has a life of her own to manage, including guiding yours...not living it for you.

Well, here's the thing: you were on training wheels this whole time.  And you haven't wanted to take them off because you might just get hurt.  But, did you know that keeping the training wheels actually hurts you more in the long run because you are not free to flow and play as you wish?

Taking off the training wheels might feel difficult, but if you never take them off, you will never learn to ride your life.  You will always be controlled or pushed by someone...or feel the need for someone to do so.

Every stage of your life teaches you something.  Remember this: if when you had nothing, knew nothing, did nothing, you were supported and loved...what makes you think that you lack something now?  What makes you think that you are not important?

Imagine how important you are that your inner child still carries those wounds that hurt you til today.

Imagine how safe you are that you made it out of the womb of liquid to now breathing oxygen from Mother Earth.

Sure, there will always be challenges to keep you feeling safe and sound.

Feel safe.  Be safe.  Embody being safe.

Bonus Affirmations: I AM SAFE BEING ME.  I GENUINELY FEEL GREAT.  I AM IN TUNE WITH MY IMPORTANCE.  I AM TUNED INTO THE FREQUENCY OF SAFETY!

FEEL IT.  BREATHE IT.  LIVE IT.
Love it!

For all of those who have just joined, allow me to explain what you can do with these daily affirmations.  There are so many things that you can do by making little changes and seeing the results of them.

1._You can repeat the affirmation as many times as you can remember throughout the day.
2._You can write it down on a note or sticky note and carry it with you.

3._You can write it on a piece of paper or a sticky note and stick it (or tape it) to your drinking cup, mug, or glass.

4._You can write it down in your daily journal.

5._You can record yourself saying it (and could add some lovely manifesting music or soothing music that won't be abrupt to your energy).

6._You can record yourself saying it and listen to it right before you go to bed and as soon as you wake up.

7._You can meditate with the affirmation.

8._You can play your recording of it as you are in the gym, at work, on break, running, resting at home, or on your way to school/work.

9._You can say it out loud as you wake up, or in front of a mirror while looking at yourself straight in your eyes.

10._You can connect with your inner child and say it out loud to it...as you wake up, as you are looking at the mirror, etc.

These are only some of the things you can do with them, but I'm pretty sure you can google and search more online if you'd like.

Let it sink in.  Let it go deep into your subconscious mind.  Let it be heard and felt by your inner child.  Let it be soothing to your inner wounds.  Let it ground itself into your nervous system.  Let it become a part of your brain waves.  Let it flow into your soul, the one that knows you best.  Let it imprint into your flesh.  Let it replace what once had hurt you.  Let it become a part of you.
