Day 54 to a better me...
Welcome, and thanks for joining me and others on this great, adventurous journey to becoming the best version of yourself, one day at a time.
Affirmation: I ALLOW MYSELF TO MAKE NEW CHOICES.
When you have a thought-repeated pattern, your results will repeatedly be the same, for they come from the same place in your mind. New choices always give you new results. Allow yourself to be free enough to make new and improved choices in your life; choices that will bring you closer to your desired outcome.
Free from what? You might be asking? Free from the loyalty you have had to the burden of repeating what others have chosen before you. Who? Your mother, your father, your authoritative figure while you were raised...and all the ones before them. This could come from limiting beliefs that have been installed in your mind in your upbringing. These limiting beliefs could have been handed down from generation to generation; given as loyalty to them, and as a loyal subject to them...getting the same results. Perhaps not being happy, feeling unworthy, feeling not enough, feeling unsuccessful, etc. might be some of the thoughts that have been limiting your expansion.
But don't start pointing fingers at them, they have been through what you have been through and even more. They too, have been loyal to that limiting belief without even knowing it. You, on the other hand, can see this now; which means you can heal and overcome it.
Yes, it is very important to allow yourself to be your own unique self and have the opportunity to choose for yourself based on your own mind and reality. Technically, the choices you have made through limiting beliefs are nothing more than the original person in your lineage still controlling and choosing through you. This person; although from your family, who doesn't know you, has been choosing for you based on their own experience and reality; that is generational loyalty. It's a structure that only served their purpose, or so they thought...did. Take the best from it, mold it, and integrate it into your own reality.
Maybe the structure itself did not work for your expansion; although it did because it squeezed so tight so that you could get out of it, one way or another. But take the strength it had and use it for your cause. This demonstrates that you come from a strong family; although the strength was being used for the wrong idea perhaps, now use it to your advantage. Be strong, as strong as that loyalty has been for generations, and choose to make new choices, your own choices. For new choices will not only give you new results but bring you closer to who you truly are.
